"Excellent customer service, our home was completed ahead of schedule, highly recommend. During the early stages, we found that Elle got back to us with pricing very quickly whereas two other builders we waited a long time to get plans and pricing. Also she was able to get us a fixed price when we signed our contract. I forgot the lady’s name who helped us with the selections process, but it was easy to do, and whenever we needed to change someonethig changed she got it updated for us. Initially our build took a little bit of time to commence, but that was due to the finance taking a while to be approved and then council took time to approve our home. Once the approvals came in, the build seemed to go smoothly and ahead of time." - Sarah

Anything that we did feel wasn’t quite right had already been pointed out by our site supervisor and was already being tended to! "My husband and I decided to build through Metro Homes after hearing positive feedback from friends who had recently built through them. We also were attracted to the fixed price contract agreement - in which we received no hidden variation costs throughout our build.

We met with their salesman at the Seaford Heights display home, he answered every question we had (we had lots!) and helped us come up with the perfect floor layout. Any request we had, was welcomed with a positive attitude - nothing was too hard. Our quotation was prepared in a timely manner, price wise we found it great value for everything we had included. Metro Homes were also very flexible about any item that we wanted to organise ourselves - e.g air conditioning, fencing, etc.

We undertook selections during the first lock down of Covid, most suppliers were through zoom but they were so professional and adapted really well. Our final selections took place at Metro's office - never once did we feel rushed out the door. The lady was extremely helpful and gave recommendations when needed but was never pushy or trying to make us spend more.

Our build started quite quickly after this. We had great communication from our customer service representative about the commencement on site & the concrete pour date. It all seemed to go so fast after this, frames up, roof on, gyprocked....every weekend we had something new to see! The trades were very neat, cleaning up after each stage - and if we ever saw them on site they were always very polite and happy to answer any of our questions. We also had great communication from our site supervisor from the very beginning who didn't hesitate to call us even just to double check a selection choice! Fast forward 6 months and we received the keys to our beautiful new home just in time for Christmas. We were extremely happy with the quality of materials used & all work was completed to a high standard.

During pre hand over we made notes of a few minor issues that needed to be rectified - these were all completed before we received our keys a week later. Building a house can be very stressful but we feel as though building through Metro Homes was a breeze. We would definitely recommend building with Metro to others, and wouldn't hesitate to build our next home with them also. "I had never built a home before and was really worried about the experiences of some of my friends, and the horror stories you see on tv, but I have had a great experience with Metro and would recommend them highly. From my first contact with Metro (late on a Sunday night!) they have been helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Building a home is a stressful undertaking and involves lots of choices and decisions, but the selection process couldn't have been ! The professionalism and service of the companies involved was amazing. It felt like they were as excited about the build as I was. The tradesmen involved in the actual construction were amazing and their work is outstanding and the site management was brilliant. In fact, during the final inspection the site manager was onto the tiniest little niggle; things I didn't even see! Any issues I had were promptly dealt with, up to and included a warranty claim that was resolved and paid in 48 hours. If you are building your first second, or any home, you have to talk to Metro. Their pricing was on point, and their were unpleasant or unexpected inclusions or surprises. Thanks to all involved at Metro for an enjoyable experience!" - Felicity

Selections were a breeze with Jasmine who was so lovely and helpful. It was overwhelming with choices and she guided us with things we may not have been sure would suit or match. She took her time and we in now way felt rushed or just another customer. Jasmine really let us sit and think about our selections, which was amazing.

Our build during Covid went well. We were able to contact with questions anytime. And then we got to move in. We were ecstatic and so happy with a new home. It’s perfect. Any touch ups that needed doing were done before moving in and we are in love with our new place. Price wise it was amazing value for money.
